Ingredients

  • Plain yogurt
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1-2 Cloves Garlic
  • Dill
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

1

Place the yogurt in a wire strainer over a bowl. Allow yogurt to drain for a couple of hours in the refrigerator. This step can be done the day before so the yogurt can drain overnight.

2

Peel and seed the cucumber, cut into small pieces

3

Spread cucumber on a paper towel and sprinkle with salt. This will draw the water out.

4

If you have cheesecloth, place the diced cucumber in the cheesecloth and wring out excess water.

5

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate. Salt & pepper to taste.
