Lois' Lasagne

Makes 2 9x13 pans or 1 lg 12x18 roaster. Can be frozen.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (qty 28) lasagne noodles
  • 2 lbs hamburger
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 28 oz can whole tomatoes (chop as needed)
  • 2 x 15 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg Lawry's spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 pints cottage cheese
  • 8 slices american cheese
  • grated mozerella
  • parmesan

Instructions

Cook noodles according to package.

Brown hamburger, onion, celery, green pepper.

Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce mix, mushrooms.

Mix 3 eggs w/ 1 1/2 pints cottage cheese.

Layer sauce, noodles, cheeses.

Repeat sauce, noodles, cheeses.

Top w/ sauce and parmesan
