Creamy Clam Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cube butter
  • 1/2 cup + 1 Tbsp flour
  • 2+ cups milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cans clams, undrained
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dill
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp minced onion
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley
  • spaghetti noodles

Instructions

Melt butter over medium heat

Add flour, stirring well to make roux

Thin with milk, adding gradually

Continue stirring & add clams with liquid

Stir in cream cheese, stir until melted with no lumps

Add seasonings

Cook spaghetti noodles and drain

Combine noodles and sauce and serve
