Cream of Spinach Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) pkg frozen chopped spinach
  • 3 cubes chicken boullion
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 Tbsp margarine
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp grated onion

Instructions

Combine water, boullion cubes, and spinach in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, and cook till tender.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Whisk in milk, and heat through. Season with grated onion, salt, pepper. Stir in spinach mixture.
